The Rockefeller Group has retained Seefried Properties as the park developer for the 79-acre Minooka Distribution Center in Minooka, Illinois. Distribution facilities ranging from 700,000 to 1,500,000 square feet have been approved for industrial build-to-suit, with layout features including 36-foot clear-heights, up to 340 car parking spaces, secure loading, trailer storage areas and more.

The site is designed for flexibility, and it's fully annexed and zoned for industrial use. Seefried and The Rockefeller Group, along with exclusive listing brokers, Lynn E. Reich, SIOR and Jeffrey K. Kapcheck, SIOR, of Colliers International, will provide fast track build-to-suit facilities for lease or purchase, and are also marketing the site for outright land sale opportunities.

"As large blocks of space continue to be absorbed throughout metropolitan Chicago, we believe industrial users will turn to build-to-suit developments in well-located, established business parks, like Minooka Distribution Center," said Dave Riefe, senior vice president of the Midwest region for Seefried. "Located just five miles west of the I-55/ I-80 interchange, Minooka Distribution Center is well- positioned for local and regional distribution."

Minooka Distribution Center is located off a four-way Interchange at Ridge Road and I-80 with neighboring logistics companies and national corporations including BMW of North America, Trader Joe's, Kellogg's, Macy's, NFI Logistics, W.W. Grainger and Electrolux.

"We are thrilled to be joining The Rockefeller Group and Colliers on this project. Our proximity to the BNSF and UP intermodal facilities in neighboring Joliet, coupled with our low Grundy County real estate taxes, makes Minooka Distribution Center a logical choice for corporate customers," said Riefe.
