During an appearance on the "No Pump Fakes" podcast last month, Oakley claimed Antetokounmpo wouldn't have thrived in his era because of his lack of shooting range. Oakley, who was known as a bruising forward in the 1980 John Wall s and 90s, doesn't believe "The Greek Freak" would have even been a starter.

"He wouldn't have be NBA Lawn and Garden Supplies en a force back in the day. … He would have struggled because they would make him shoot jump shots," Oakley said. "He wouldn't be doing a [Eurostep] to the basket and just get a layup. Somebody's gonna knock his head off.
"I'm glad he's doing what he's doing now, but he definitely wouldn't have — he'd Kevin Garnettcome off the bench back in the day."
Thomas landed on the opposite end of the spectrum, telling NBA TV's Kristen Ledlow that Antetokounmpo is the modern-day version o steph curry 5t jersey f Ralph Sampson and would "absolutely" be an MVP-caliber player in any era.

Even when there were major concerns about his offensive limitations, though, he was still a dominant two-way force. Calling him a bench player in another era came off as a rather absurd statement, and steph curry 4t jersey Thomas treated it as such.
