With Seefried Properties as the construction project manager, Eagle Rock Distributing Company's warehouse, formerly Kraft Foods, will soon become the largest film studio in Metro Atlanta, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reported.

Set to open on March 31, 2015, the facility will have four 30,000 square-foot sound stages, all under one roof. Larry Spysinksi, vice president of development at Seefried Properties, has led the project construction and design team to transform a former Kraft Food warehouse into a state-of-the art movie and television studio. Once complete, Eagle Rock Studios will self-manage the facility.

"We're proud to help foster Atlanta's booming entertainment industry that is bringing thousands of jobs and millions of investment dollars to the area," said Spysinski. "This may have been our first movie and television studio project, but I predict it won't be our last."

While this is the first film studio venture for Seefried Properties and Eagle Rock, it is not a new business relationship. Seefried Properties recently developed a two-story 50,000 square foot Class-A office building along with the redevelopment a 400,000 square foot warehouse on the new Eagle Rock headquarters campus in Norcross, Georgia.

"Our portfolio of adaptive reuse industrial projects keeps growing and diversifying," said Spysinski. "Each new type of project brings its own design and construction challenges, while meeting our client's expectations, in converting a giant warehouse into a Hollywood level film production Studio."
